Slot monitoring is directed to strive to use the scarce capacity at the airport is efficiently used. An adequate level of service quality should be maintained for the quality, flexibility and effectiveness of the coordination process to improve. In accordance with the European Council Regulation 95/93 as amended, IATA Worldwide Slot Guidelines (WSG) and local rules, ACNL is obligated to monitor the use and adherence of allocated airport slots at Dutch level 3 coordinated airports.

  1. The slot coordination personnel is employed by ANA and the coordinator’s budget is approved by the ANA Board of Administration. Under these circumstances, the Commission considers that the slot coordinator cannot function independently and autonomously from ANA. Furthermore, up to now ANA has covered all the slot coordinator’s costs.

NIGHT REGIME

AMS has a night regime in place. Operations during night regime require an allocated night slot. Operations during night time period without a night slot will be considered as unplanned night movement. All operators are recommended to review and abide to the applicable procedure and sanctioning system.
